The best way to climb Mount Kilimanjaro is to take the trail less travelled. In September 2024, I joined the Jagged Globe team in their trip to Tanzania, first, on an acclimatisation climb up Mount Meru - Africa's fifth highest peak. The team was then able to tackle the hardest route - the Umbwe - on Africa's highest peak, with all eleven team members reaching the summit.
