Directing a Student's Union campaign 

 

We turned a Student's Union candidate into more than just a face on a campaign poster by releasing this 3 minute, bespoke campaign video, featuring a rewritten and re-adapted version of the 2019 the hit song 'Dance Monkey'. 

Filled with lots of students, lots of turquoise, and lots of surprises (a horse on campus??), this official campaign video drove the successful campaign for Royal Holloway's 2020 Student's Union VP elections.

Five 'leak' videos would be released in the lead up to the official video. This technique would go on to alter campaign strategies of future teams and was mimicked by candidates across every sector. It has now become standard practice when releasing a campaign video in the RHSU elections.
